9/4/1976. Reconsideration of 1975 Finals. The 9/14/1975 rule change will not be applied retroactively. Therefore RHB graciously relinquishes the 7/16/1976 decision to Tiger Williams, who will reign as 1975 Golden Mallet. However, it has ben noted that Mr. Williams won his title “the Easy Way”, an achievement akin to breaking the home run record in a smaller ballpark.
