[What follows is an email exchange between KJB and KG celebrating new mallets]
Shelley and I arrived last Saturday for an enjoyable-but-too-short 2 night overlap with H & K. Of course one of the first things I did was to inspect the KG Mallets which they had pledged to pick up and deliver.
I can testify that the lovingly crafted mallets inspire joy and admiration. You can see below a picture of our arsenal de maillet which is now the home for these creations. The second picture shows a new mallet head next to an old and demonstrates why The Game required new equipment. The third picture is of the 6 new regulation croquet balls which i acquired. I hope that the increased number of ball options which they make available will enhance the quality of play and mystery which has been an inherent part of Golden Mallet success.
The two mallets which K made for me are shown in the final photo. One I will take home, but the other will stay at Chez Nous. Feel free to use that one when I am not.

It was my pleasure and honor to craft a new set of mallets that will hopefully last as long if not longer than the previous set. Should you need a new set 30 years from now, just give a holler. I might say that the location from which they will be created will be totally different from the current one.
