1. Re TDB’s “election” to GMHOF: the rule actually is that GMHOF status automatically accrues only to one who wins the GM in three successive years. (EAW agrees). [initials of EAW and RHB? + smiley face]. 2. Proposed criteria for GM award appear suitable. In my opinion it should only be bestowed posthumously or the equivalent.

Comment on the Comments on 1978 notes — appeal of KJB + EAW on (1) above considered and denied sua sponte. TDB (DISOPGREAHB). (2) Re: the BM award being made posthumously it should be noted that HJB is the only holder of the award + we can take judicial notice that he plays like he was deceased — accordingly he will retain the award — other cases will be decided on their own merits (?).
